This piece was created for a solo exhibition titled score-cut-crease-fold at Brenda May Gallery in Sydney in 2009. This work was part of a series which played with the idea of archiving and preserving childhood pastimes of yesteryear as if they were museum specimens. It was presented in a timber box – perhaps something like that of the travelling showman or “snake oil” merchant who visited fairs and carnivals in the nineteenth century.
