365 Days: #46 Watercolour Rubbing
Had to find a shape in a background scribble – out popped a duck!
365 Days: Day#33
A bit of a holiday break, but now I’m back. Simple exercise as part of Carla Sonheim’s course – a painted background and stamps using a kneaded rubber and some acrylic paint. Didn’t enjoy the lack of control – but that’s me! Have added some digital work.
365 Days: Day #22
Today’s exercise is to make a drawing using the shape of a knob of ginger. These are two that I did using the iPad. Am having fun playing with the apps on the iPad – am gradually learning how to use them properly!
365 Days: Day #17
Today’s task was to turn lemonade into lemons. I’ve used coloured pencil and collaged my drawing into a found image.
365 Days: Day #16
Today’s task – blind drawing of a lion. Definitely looking by the time I added th pastel and coloured pencil! He started to look a lot like Max – my cat!!
365Days: Day#10
today’s task – a drawing incorporating an elephant and a watch. Thought I would revisit those wonderful 19th century paintings of stuffy old upper class gentlemen with a twist!
365 Days: Day10
Today I’m trying to channel teenage-dom from an earlier time – not so easy!
Day 365: #8
Day 8 of Carla Sonheim’s year long course. Today’s task was to create a watercolour scraping on paper. I used this as the background for a digital painting.
